SAFE seeks fairness for boys and girls, men and women!

This podcast is extremely important!
This show is in part about the "Coaching Boys Not To Abuse" program and "curriculum" (part 1) but there is also some additional insight into the use of the DV system to abuse innocent people.(part 2) and this interview is done by a woman. She also speaks openly about the damage that families have suffered due to the bias that has been encouraged by the Domestic Violence "industry".
Please listen to the show by going to http://www.wgy.com/cc-common/podcast/single_podcast.html?podcast=al_roney.xml and scrolling down to "Domestic Violence Campaign (pts.1 & 2)"

SAFE-NH has sent several letters to this Coach Your Boys Campaign since it's launch a couple of years ago,  http://endabuse.org/programs/display.php3?DocID=9916 telling them that this is a discriminatory program.
We suggested to them that they should consider supporting campaigns that teach both boys and girls not to be abusive to anyone and to respect EVERYONE!. However, they have never bothered to respond.
We also have always said that this is curriculum is unfair and harmful to boys!

National Partners of this Campaign:

Please listen to this interview and let me know your thoughts...this is much the same as we have been expressing at SAFE-NH for over 5 years!

Maybe it's time to contact the list of Corporations that are listed as "Partners" in this campaign and suggest that they financially support programs that are making an "honest" effort to "Stop Abuse For Everyone", rather than biased organizations that erode families and our communities by discriminating against males of all ages!

Their "customers" are men and women, so both men and ethical women should take a stand on this for their sons.
They must also take a stand for their daughters, or they will get the message that their violent acts are excusable or worse yet ,the misguided perception that their violence is a sign of female empowerment.
When everyone regardless of gender is treated, supported and respected equally we will see that there are ways to make our families and our communities safer for everyone!

It's no longer acceptable for Domestic Violence to be the meal ticket for programs that focus on getting the financial gravy train to stop at their door at the expense of families and valid victims of abuse! It IS time for funding to be given to organizations that are honestly trying to protect people and heal our communities with non- biased approaches!

We must hold abusive people accountable but we must also hold organizations accountable for their abusive actions as well. Organizations that are money-driven and willfully discriminate even after they know the facts, need to suffer the consequences by losing their funding to others who treat all people equally and with dignity.

Let's join together and help new perspectives and approaches to reach their tipping point so that families can thrive and once again become a strong part of the fabric of our communities!
